Tamoil Nederland Expands Retail Offering with New Flocafe Espresso Room in Capelle Schollevaar

Ridderkerk, 7 October 2025 – Coffee enthusiasts are in for a treat: Flocafe Espresso Room has opened its doors with a completely revamped shop at Shell Schollevaar, located at Burgemeester van Dijklaan 1 in Capelle aan den IJssel. Tamoil Nederland currently operates over 238 fuel and charging stations, including 41 Shell-branded sites. The new outlet brings the authentic Greek Flocafe experience to the Netherlands with a space of more than 100 m², fully decorated in the brand’s distinctive Greek style.

The Flocafe Espresso Room concept is a true haven for coffee lovers, offering a wide range of speciality coffees prepared according to World Barista Championship standards, alongside freshly made sandwiches and authentic Greek delicacies. To celebrate its opening, a Scratch and Win promotion is running from 1 to 22 October 2025, giving customers the chance to win a city break for two to Athens and many other exciting prizes.

Located next to the A20 motorway on the border of Rotterdam and Capelle aan den IJssel, Shell Schollevaar is the first station in the area to feature a Flocafe Espresso Room. It joins a growing network of Flocafe outlets already operating in Herveld, Emmen de Blikken, Rotterdam Nieuw Kralingen, Zandvoort, and Alkmaar, with more locations to follow. The station also offers Shell V-Power, Shell FuelSave, LPG, and, from mid-2026, fast-charging facilities for electric vehicles.

This opening forms part of Tamoil Nederland’s strategy to enhance its customer offering and diversify its revenue streams. By expanding beyond traditional fuel services and introducing high-quality food and beverage concepts, Tamoil aims to create more engaging and convenient experiences for its customers.
